What We Shipped This Quarter

CodeHive team · October 13, 2026 2 min read

It's been a busy stretch at CodeHive. Between client engagements and our own in-house products, seven very different builds crossed the finish line recently — spanning e-commerce, fintech, logistics, hospitality, business management and mobility. Here's a look at what shipped, and the problem each one actually solves.

E-tisha Marketplace

A multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace connecting buyers and sellers across East Africa — product discovery, secure payments, order tracking and a vendor dashboard, built to scale from a handful of sellers to thousands.

SmartSoko Mart

A sister marketplace in the same family of products — multi-vendor retail with its own storefront, cart and checkout flow, and an admin dashboard for managing products, orders and sales analytics across multiple vendors.

Biashara 360

Running a small business usually means juggling five different tools for sales, stock, staff and spreadsheets. Biashara 360 folds that into one dashboard — point-of-sale, inventory with low-stock alerts, customer records, employee management and a live view of net sales and gross profit.

Naulicare

A negotiated-fare ride marketplace — riders and drivers agree on a price before the trip starts, instead of accepting whatever a fixed algorithm sets. We go deeper on why that matters .

Polar Limelight

A parcel logistics platform coordinating collection, rail transport and last-mile delivery between Nairobi and Mombasa — book a parcel, track it in five stages, and choose pickup or doorstep delivery at the other end.

LBV Lodge

A booking engine for a lounge and stay at the Namanga border crossing — live room availability, guest-count filtering and direct reservations, replacing phone-call bookings with a proper calendar.

Novapesa Microcredit

A banking-grade microfinance platform for East African lenders — KYC, loan disbursement and collections over mobile money, and compliance reporting. We dig into why this category is moving so fast right now .

Seven products, seven different markets, one pattern: real businesses with a specific, unglamorous problem — negotiating a fare, tracking a parcel, reconciling a loan book — get it solved properly rather than bolted onto a generic template. More soon.
